Hybrid Event FAQ
What is a hybrid event?
Productions that have both live and virtual components are known as hybrid events. Historically, hybrid events included a livestream of the in-person component that viewers watch from home. However, we’ve worked with many of our clients to reimagine hybrid events to blend the experience together in new ways for audiences who can’t attend in-person. For example, we can connect virtual attendees together for breakouts and networking sessions, or manage remote Q&A that’s read to the onsite panelists. Hybrid events are creative, engaging ways to grow your audience beyond your venue space.
Can you be onsite in multiple cities?
Yes. We have a nationwide network of qualified technicians who run your event. That means if you have several, smaller in-person locations, plus a virtual component, we can be many places at once to link it all together.
Can you incorporate sponsors into my virtual or hybrid event?
Yes. There are lots of unique and valuable sponsorship opportunities at virtual and hybrid events. We can incorporate your sponsors’ branding and logos on your virtual stage, or even help your sponsors engage with your audience, depending on your platform. We can also help you brainstorm virtual event sponsorship ideas.
COVID-19 is making planning difficult. Can your plans be flexible?
We get it. It can be difficult to plan far in advance due to the unpredictability of COVID-19 conditions. Talk to us about planning a virtual-only event as a backup plan if your hybrid event is not feasible.
Can you produce a hybrid event in my city?
Due to our nationwide network of qualified technicians, we can produce a hybrid event in any city in the country. (Subject to local COVID-19 large group gathering requirements.) Talk to us about our safety standards, and how we can help you plan, even during unpredictable times.
Do you manage login and registration?
We can handle all your registration needs using any streaming platform you choose for your hybrid event, including sending out login information, meeting reminders, and any other communication pre and post-event. We can also help you choose the right streaming platform for you. At the end of your event, you’ll receive all your attendee metrics like user info and feedback from polls/surveys.
What if something goes wrong at my event?
When things go wrong during live broadcasts it can be a real disaster for both attendees and presenters. That’s why we always plan ahead for emergencies (internet goes down, presenter missed their flight, etc.) and focus on contingency solutions up front — remote viewer support lines, onsite technicians, pre-recorded audio and video options, 4G internet backups, and more.
